On today's episode I talk to Keya Vadgama, a recent graduate of the Type Design Masters program at the University of Reading in the UK. Keya is based in Toronto, has worked extensively in UI and was a 2020 recipient of the Malee Scholarship. We get into her frustrations with the design twitter, how she's also using social media for opportunities, and how it is to be the only woman of color in a type design masters program during a global pandemic, and protests against racial injustice happening all over the world. Spoiler alert: it's not easy!
